The Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS) is financially healthy and meets all of the requirements concerning sound financial management. It finished the year 2022 with an overall financial result of €13.2 million.

Income

The primary source of income for the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS) is the Government Grant (rijksbijdrage), money which the government allocates to educational institutions for the purposes of providing education and conducting research.

The net income for 2022 of €13.2 million represents 2.6% of the total income of the AUAS from all sources which amounted to €513.5 million (excluding expenditure). The key figures for financial health are robust and meet the requirements of the Education Inspectorate. The AUAS can meet its short and long-term obligations and has sufficient financial reserves to absorb potential financial setbacks.
