#2 We are the Aviation Academy: Julide Cildir

"My name is Julide and I am a first year student at the Aviation Academy. I chose this study because the aviation industry has always attracted me. I think it is an industry in which passion, challenges and variation are keywords.

During this studies you don’t just focus on airplanes, it’s also about processes around it, like logistical processes and airport developments. What I like is that the Aviation Academy has a public area where you can study, chat or work together with other students. You’re also able to discuss topics, issues or problems you encounter with the Aviation lecturers, who are located next to this open area.

The aviation industry is a very international one, which makes it possible to do practical internships in foreign countries, and maybe even start a career if that’s your ambition. What I hope, is that in four years when I am graduated I can work at a big international airport or airline."

The "We are the Aviation Academy" blog is an initiative of the research programme of Aviation and aims to give everyone in- and outside the Aviation Academy a nice view of the people of the Aviation Academy.
