NT2 exam delay: students advised to apply4 Apr 2019 14:45 | Communication
The Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS) has been informed that there is currently a waiting list for completing the State Exams ‘Dutch as a Second Language’ (NT2). Students who require this diploma in order to study at the AUAS (NT2 Level II) are advised to apply for their study of choice.
Application deadline: 1 May
The State Exam NT2 is the national language proficiency exam for non-Dutch adults seeking to study (or work) in the Netherlands. This diploma is officially recognised by the government and is mandatory for (non-Dutch) students who have conducted their preparatory education in another country yet want to apply for a Dutch-language degree programme.
The AUAS application deadline for the majority of degree programmes in the 2019-2020 academic year is 1 May 2019. The AUAS advises students who need the NT2 diploma to apply as planned via studielink to avoid missing the application deadline.
The AUAS is looking into various options for students who meet the other application criteria yet are unable to sit their NT2 exam before 1 September.
More information is available (in Dutch) on the official State Exam website. A support line has also been set up via 020-525 3844 to answer questions about the delays or you can send an email to email@example.com.
Please contact the AUAS if you have specific questions about your application via email: firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone: 020-595 1401.
