Start Up Scale Up Business

In this course we work on the dynamics of the life cycle of enterprises, especially the start-up phase and scale-up phase and the bridge between them.

Start-ups are the engine of growth in our economy. Too many would-be-entrepreneurs get stuck early in the process of starting a business because they think only a certain type of person will be successful.

In this course we work on the dynamics of the life cycle of enterprises, especially the start-up phase and scale-up phase and the bridge between them.

The basics of starting your own business are creativity and entrepreneurship, but in order to move your business forward the art of starting a business is also to focus directly on scaling up. Success factors: Agility, Absorption and Attitude

In this course we offer you a balance between theory, expertise and practice with subjects such as: the triangle strategy-structure-culture, sustainability, digital economy, earning models, business planning, enterprise risk and finance.

With the innovative start-up scene of Amsterdam as the setting of this course you will learn from the successes from this world-wide well known start up-scale up scene in the Amsterdam Economy.

In this course the students get an overall insight in the dynamics of starting and scaling up a business. They also work on a “start-up/ scale-up” business plan.
