Venturing With... On the Rocks

How did founder Anne Pleun make it from law student to frontrunner in sustainable entrepreneurship?

Event

On The Rocks was launched with a Kickstarter campaign. This start was as a rollercoaster-ride, as media jumped on the Rockbooks wanting to know all about them. How did founder Anne Pleun make it from law student to frontrunner in sustainable entrepreneurship?

Anne’s Rockbooks are notebooks produced using stonepaper, a cradle to cradle certified material. But, she takes it a couple of steps further. Rockbooks are designed and produced in the Netherlands, under fair and clean, eco-friendly circumstances. The inks are toxin-free, the production CO2-neutral.

On Thursday, September 20 Anne Pleun will share her story with you. Anne will talk about her first steps in circular business. She will discuss the challenges she faced and lessons she learned. It will be an inspiring afternoon, especially for those of you interested in the field of sustainable design and entrepreneurship. And a bonus for students: on the Rocks is currently looking for interns!

So, come and join us for the event: listen, ask questions, connect and learn from what Anne Pleun has to share. The event is free of charge and will take place in the Amsterdam Venture Studios, located on the ground floor of the Wibauthuis. See you there!
