Computer security

The Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) monitors computer and network security at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS ). The team coordinates the prevention, detection and correction of security incidents at the AUAS.

A security incident is any event which has the potential to cause damage to your computer or the network, possibly involving data loss, abuse or manipulation, or copyright infringement. Examples include: unauthorised entry into a computer system (hacking) and introducing software viruses.

Report a security incident

A security incident can be reported during office hours to the Servicedesk ICTS via servicedesk-icts@hva.nl or by calling 020-595 1402.

Outside office hours, in case of serious or confidential security incidents, you can report them directly to CERT-AUAS via cert@hva.nl or call 020-525 3322.
