International Business and Languages is a full-time four-year programme at the Amsterdam School of International Business. Each year you gain solid knowledge and develop essential skills to succeed internationally. To flourish in cross-cultural business, languages are crucial. Different from regular business programmes, this programme is fully taught in English and you will learn two other non-native languages as well.

We expect you to earn a total of 240 study credits over the course of four years. The programme includes around 20 contact hours a week in your first year. One academic year involves 42 weeks of class lectures and work group sessions per year.

Graduates from the programme have a solid understanding of economics, marketing and sales. Upon graduation, you are capable of applying learned theories into practice, such as writing a solid business plan or drafting an export strategy for a global company. We require evidence that you have passed the standardised examinations for university entrance of your nation of origin. These include for example Dutch havo, vwo or mbo level 4, International Baccalaureate, Abitur, A’ Levels in two subjects plus GCSEs in 4 additional subjects grades A*-C or BTEC Level 3.
