The study check is a mandatory part of the enrolment procedure for applicants with a Dutch secondary school diploma. Visit study check for information on the regulations and exceptions that apply.

Our application procedure is as follows:

  1. Sign up in Studielink before 1 May.
  2. When you have signed up in Studielink and possess a non-Dutch secondary school diploma, you will automatically receive an invitation by email from the Central Student Administration (CSA) to submit copies before a certain deadline, of your non-Dutch diplomas and previous education for evaluation. Read more about our credentials evaluation.
  3. Applicants with a Dutch secondary school diploma will automatically receive an email invitation for the mandatory study check.
    1. For the study check, students need to do an online assessment and will have to attend an on-campus session.

PLEASE NOTE: The admissions and immigration process for prospective international students with Bangladeshi, Nepalese and Pakistani nationalities will take approximately 5 months to process. Therefore, prospective students from these three countries are encouraged to apply (via studielink.nl) and submit all their admissions documents to Central Student Administration before 1 March.

Check your application deadline and apply via Studielink

Within 48 hours you will receive an email confirmation of your application. In the confirmation email you will find information about the sign up procedure.

Spam folder

If you have submitted an enrolment application via Studielink but do not see an invitation in your inbox, make sure to check your spam folder. Sometimes emails from AUAS will end up there.

The on-campus sessions for 2020 are listed below. The times that are mentioned include a 30 minutes welcome reception before the kick-off of the programme:

The study check consists of two mandatory components:

  1. An online assessment to be completed at home
  2. On-campus session with mandatory attendance

Contents of the online assessment

The online assessment will introduce you to the most important subjects within the International Business degree programme. This will help you to ascertain whether this is the best degree programme for you. The online assessment includes video clips, tests and case studies.

You will receive the link to the online assessment 3 weeks prior the on-campus session. You will receive information about the deadline as well.

If you do not complete the online assessment before the deadline, you cannot attend the mandatory on-campus session and cannot start the programme in September. Keep in mind that the online assessment takes about 4 hours to complete.

On-campus session with mandatory attendance

If you have completed the online assessment before the deadline, you are welcome during the on-campus session. During the session you will get to meet faculty and fellow students. Items that will be covered will include:

1. Getting to know each other

2. Q&A session on practical matters and student coaching

3. Group work on the homework assignment

4. Evaluation

This short movie gives you an impression of the on-campus session.

If you have completed the online assessment before the deadline and attended the mandatory on-campus session, then you will receive within two weeks after you have participated in the on-campus session, the official study choice advice by email.

The study choice advice is based on the results of the tests in the online assessment.
