CHATGPT FACULTY OF HEALTH AND FACULTY OF TECHNOLOGY

What does accessible artificial intelligence (such as ChatGPT) mean for our work as lecturer or researcher?

Event

Interactive session on the impact of accessible artificial intelligence (such as ChatGPT) for the work as lecturer and/or researcher.

You can't ignore it: new AI tools such as ChatGPT are playing an increasingly important role in professional practice and have an impact on education and testing. Within the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences we are going to give such tools a place in a well-considered way, with attention to the opportunities and risks. We learn from and with each other.

During this interactive session we will address the central question: What does accessible artificial intelligence (such as ChatGPT) mean for our work as a lecturer and/or as a researcher?

Set up meeting

We start with an introduction: what is ChatGPT and how does it work? And how do we ensure that we continue to offer space for this in the future? What are the guidelines for use and what are the opportunities and risks? We introduce you to ChatGPT through various cases and demos.

Then we will actively work together in 4 different sessions:

  • ChatGPT from the lecturer's perspective
  • ChatGPT from the student’s perspective
  • ChatGPT from the researcher's perspective
  • ChatGPT from the perspective of the healthcare professional

Keynote speakers:

  • Jesse Aarden - Initiator Smart Health and Vitality Lab, AUAS
  • Bart Baselmans - Hoofddocent Biomedische Technologie, AUAS
