In 2019, Kyara graduated from the Honors Aviation Management track. After that, Kyara obtained a masters degree in Air Transport Management at the Cranfield University. Since then, she has been working as a Lecturer at the Aviation Academy. She will tell us something about her experiences after graduation and her outlook on the future.
I would love to continue to do research/lecture for the hva, but on a parttime basis. Next to lecturing, I am starting a course in project management which I would like to combine with my background in aviation, to manage larger projects within aviation organisations.

How did you get your current job?
During my masters in Air Transport Management at the Cranfield University I contacted lecturers at the hva to ask them whether they had/or knew of any job opportunities for me.
What are your daily operations?
Lecturer in year 1 operations.
What do you like the most at your job?
It gives me the opportunity to work with a strategic and broad overview on the industry, something I would not be able to do in a starter position outside of education.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

What did you like the most from your education that helped you out nowadays in your work?
Understanding the industry from all different kinds of perspectives; especially during my masters I experienced how everything is logic, because we have such a broad fundament in aviation, where other students struggled to understand the impact of everything.
