Identifying Pioneers in Economic Transformation
5 Feb 2024 20:49 | Centre for Economic TransformationCET invites HvA employees to submit proposals, with two funding rounds available, totalling €100,000 per round. They can use these seed funds to set up small-scale experiments, write grant applications, engage external experts, fund collaborative projects, organise international working visits, host workshops, and even submit innovative ideas as wildcards.
By 2024, the CET has seed funds available for researchers, faculty and community managers from all faculties and departments to collaborate with pioneering practitioners to develop new initiatives in research and education towards economic transformation. In 2024, there will be two rounds and a total of €100,000 is available per round. Funds (up to €25,000 per proposal) can be used for:
- Setting up a small-scale experiment
- Writing a grant application (or having it written)
- Hosting costs of an external expert or precursor within your department
- Replacement funds for a collaborative project with a forerunner/pioneers
- International working visits and/or international fieldwork with a pioneer in the field ofeconomic transformation (possibly also for students involved in research projects)
- Organisation of workshops and round-table sessions
- Wildcard: if you have an innovative idea that does not fit any of the above forms, please contact the scientific director of the CET, Ingrid Wakkee, to test potential feasibility.
Important deadlines
- Submitting the one pager: 12 March 2024 and 16 September 2024 at 5 p.m.
- Verbal consultation rounds (in person!): on 18 March 2024 and 23 September 2024, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Corry Tendeloo Huis .
- Completion of projects: no later than 31 December 2024.
