Master Occupational Therapy ranked best in class

The Master’s programme Occupational Therapy at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences has been named the best Master in the field of health sciences. This was announced in the annual Master’s Guide (Keuzegids Masters 2019), which was published today. The programme scored 84 points (on a scale of 100).

An international learning experience

The European Master of Science in Occupational Therapy offers students an international learning experience. The two-year, part time, research-oriented programme is offered by a consortium of five institutions in five different countries.

The AUAS Master Legal Management also performed well in the ranking, scoring 80 points. This programme, offered in Dutch, stood out in particular due to its excellent reputation in the field of property law.

The AUAS was also ranked as an institution overall, earning the second-place spot in the medium-sized provider of Master’s programmes category. The top spot went to ArtEZ.

The Master’s Guide

The Master's Guide is published annually. This respected guide rates Master’s programmes at Dutch universities and universities of applied sciences, based on student satisfaction reported in the National Student Survey (NSE) and expert assessments from accreditations by the NVAO (Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders).

According to the Master's Guide, degree programmes excel by scoring at least 75 points, earning them a ‘quality mark’ achievement.
