Hanneke Reuling reappointed Vice-Chair AUAS

Hanneke Reuling, Vice-Chairperson of the Executive Board at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, has been reappointed to the position by the Supervisory Board. The reappointment will take effect on 1 October 2021 and will last for four years.

Reuling has been a member of the Executive Board since 1 October 2017 and is responsible for the business operations portfolio. In this role, she oversees the finances and construction of the Conrad building, among other things. From 1 September 2020 to 1 March 2021, following the departure of Huib de Jong and until the arrival of Jopie Nooren, she served as Interim Chair of the Executive Board.

The Supervisory Board greatly appreciates Reuling's thorough approach and connecting management style. In the midst of complex circumstances she has proved herself to be a highly skilled and committed administrator with a great deal of knowledge of business operations. The Supervisory Board is pleased with her reappointment.

The Central Representative Advisory Council (CMR) has been consulted and is positive about Reuling's reappointment. The CMR holds her in high esteem as 'a competent director and transparent discussion partner, who is able to stay calm in turbulent times'.
