AUAS can finally reopen!

On August 13 the government announced in a press conference that the 1.5 metre rule in higher education will no longer be in effect from August 30 onwards. This means that all activities can resume on the campuses once more.

However, there will be several conditions to this reopening. These conditions include a maximum number of 75 people permitted in a space, as well as wearing a mask in the hallways and following the set walking routes. The AUAS has already taken this scenario into account when drawing up the timetables, so AUAS is completely ready.

This will hopefully put an end to a period in which students predominantly attended education remotely. We are overjoyed that meeting in person is possible again because studying goes beyond just taking in knowledge. It is precisely the interaction with each other and with lecturers that allows students to develop their talents optimally and to prepare well for their role in society.

Students and staff will be briefed with the necessary information about the implementations of the government decision by their programme or team.
