Jopie Nooren joins the VH Board
1 Oct 2021 14:27 | CommunicationJopie Nooren, Chair of the Executive Board at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, has become a board member at the Netherlands Association of Universities of Applied Sciences (VH). This is effective 1 October.
Nooren has been appointed for a period of three years, with the possibility of reappointment for another three years. Erika Schaper, Chair of the Executive Board of NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences, will also join the VH Board.
Nooren: "As a member of the VH Board, I would like to contribute at a national level to boost the societal value and accessibility of higher education even further. A society that offers people, particularly young adults, the opportunity to develop into highly educated professionals who are equipped to adequately address today’s challenges and the challenges we’ll face in the decades ahead.”
