Students Stan Waal, Evelien Koenraadt and Kyra Galis won the jury prize of the GO Game Changers Awards on Wednesday 26 January for their Donut Game. They developed this interactive game to introduce high school students to the circular economy and Kate Raworth's donut model.

The audience award went to Aimée van den Heuvel, Romy Rooderkerk, Veerle van Velzen, Simone Hettinga and Esmée Braakman for their project InControl. Boosting social sustainability, this project works to boost the availability of information concerning the contraceptive pill among girls.

Event

The awards ceremony was hybrid, partially held online and in-person, organised FLOOR and Campus Creators. The winners of the jury prize received a sustainable trophy (crafted from old tennis rackets and a field hockey stick) made by the student entrepreneurs behind Maak-On, a company that transforms waste from sports equipment into new products. The jury consisted of Jopie Nooren (Chair of the AUAS Executive Board), Ineke Bussemaker (Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics) and Richard van der Veen (Creative Business lecturer and founder of HvA Pride).
