Research is an increasingly important element of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, besides education. At the EARMA conference in Oslo this week, Maren Pannemann and Lucy Kerstens will demonstrate the importance of practice-based research at universities of applied sciences.

EARMA is the European umbrella organisation for research managers. In Oslo this week, professionals involved in research policy and funding share their knowledge. Pannemann and Kerstens will talk about the Centres of Expertise of Dutch universities of applied sciences and the impact of research in relation to improving the educational curriculum on 5 and 6 May.

Lucy Kerstens is manager of the Centre for Economic Transformation at the AUAS. Research funding advisor Maren Pannemann is the main contact for the AUAS in Brussels. Locally, nationally and internationally, the number of research projects carried out by universities of applied sciences (of: the AUAS) has increased significantly in recent years.

More than 1100 participants from all over Europe will share their knowledge at the EARMA conference. Follow the presentations by Pannemann and Kerstens at:
