Entrepreneurship Education at Secondary Schools

5 years

Entrepreneurship education is widely available in secondary schools. The evidence on the effects of (the didactics of) entrepreneurship education on learning outcomes is limited. We will contribute to this by first analyzing the existing supply of entrepreneurship education, which mainly consists of setting up mini-companies (narrow entrepreneurship education) in secondary schools. We will use the input to develop an evidence-based (broad) entrepreneurship program to conduct a quantitative impact study on. In doing so, we will use a self-developed measuring instrument to provide insight into secondary school students' behavior in terms of entrepreneurial intentions, attitudes, and skills.
