"If it can be done, I build a copy”

"Sorting out how systems work and then build a copy"

Bachelor in Information Technology and Computer Science - Alfred Espinosa Encarnación, Student

For Alfred, programming and working with physical objects at the same time is the ideal combination. In his previous studies, on an intermediate vocational training course where he also learned to write programs, he missed the hands-on approach.

“Now that I’m studying Technical Computing I can work with hardware and software.” On robots, for example, and on operating systems for tablets and smartphones. In one project Alfred developed an operating system for a photo booth: “I fixed it so that the camera zoomed in and printed automatically. Really cool.”

Alfred is fascinated by all kinds of systems. “I want to know how they work. And if it can be done, I build a copy.”
