Robin Benjamin

My name is Robin Benjamin, 22 years old and I am a dancer. I started with Breakdance when I was 5 years old. What was my hobby at first became my work. I teach almost everyday here in The Netherland. And my ambition is to travel around the world to teach and perform shows, and to inspire people with it. My whole life is about dancing.

For me it is really important that movements connect with the music. I want to translate the music into something visual. Music is always in the lead in my choreographies. Which is not only about the lyrics but mostly about the energy and the feeling music gives you.

My style is mainly Hiphop. I have experiences as a dancer with House, Popping, Dancehall and African styles. You will see influences of these in my own style.

I am the trainer of TR1Be for 3 years now. I work with them towards contests. Next to striving for excellence with the team I want to push every individual dancing to give all they have got and develop as a dancer. Which is working out very well.
