Adding Publications in Pure

You can add publications to Pure in three ways: import from databases, from files and manually.

There are three ways to add publications to Pure: import them from databases, from files or manually.
If a publication is available in a database to which Pure has access, such as Web of Science or Scopus, you can import it directly from the database into Pure:

  1. Click the green ‘Add new’ button on the right.
  2. At 'Research output' click Import from online source.
  3. Check if all data are correct.

You can also import from a file in RIS or BiBTeX format:

  1. Click the green ‘Add new’ button on the right
  2. At 'Research output' click Import from file

If the above does not apply, then you can add the data manually:

  1. Click the green ‘Add new’ button on the right
  2. Select the appropriate template
  3. Fill in, at least, all the fields marked with a red asterix
  4. Click the ‘Save’ button at the bottom of the page. If 'Save' is not clicked, all content will be lost

Besides publications, you can add other output, such as 'Activities' and ‘Press / media’. Examples of an ‘Activity’ are giving a talk, a journal editorship, or the organisation of a conference. An example of ‘Press / media’ is a radio interview.
