AUAS Library

Borrowed items that surpassed the maximum term will no longer be extended.

8 Feb 2021 12:46

It is time to return your borrowed books. Despite earlier reports that all items will be extended until after the lockdown, the Library had to decide to repossess material that surpassed the maximum term.

If you have library items in your possession, theres a good chance that you received an automated message stating the maximum extension term has surpassed. Contrary to earlier notice, Library items that have passed the maximum extension, will nog longer be renewed. This is because we have a large number of requests in the catalog, other library users would like to make use of our collection too.

Avoid a fine

Therefore we kindly request you to return your borrowed items. Failing to do so may result in a fine.

Returning your borrowed items

You can hand in borrowed material at the Leeuwenburg Library. Check the location page for opening times.

Do you still follow classes at an AUAS facility? In case there is a library present, you will find a dropxbox at the entrance of the building where you can leave your borrowed items.

Are you unable to come to the Library? Send your books. This is now possible free of charge via the freepost number below:
