Zotero

You can create an account and download the software on Zotero.org.

Zotero is available as a desktop and as a web version. With a Zotero plug-in in your browser you can import references from databases and websites in just one click. The free version offers you 300 MB storage.

If you are currently using a different citation tool, but would like to switch to Zotero, there is an easy way to import your references into Zotero.
