Vitality is all about our physical fitness, mental resilience and our work-life balance, as well as about how we deal with setbacks, our resilience to stress and our ability to relax.

With flexible employment and technological developments in the labour market putting more pressure on employees, vitality is becoming an increasingly important issue. Our working lives have grown longer, knowledge becomes outdated more quickly, while our using laptops, smartphones and tablets for work makes it harder for us switch off, disrupting our work-life balance.

Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS) is committed to sustainable employability and vitality, and is investing in opportunities and tools to allow employees to maximise their physical and mental fitness and vitality.
