Building management
The building managers support the departments, Policy Offices, the Executive Staff Department (in part) and the faculties by carrying out day-to-day management and (minor) maintenance duties at the AUAS buildings and ensuring the everyday safety of the public areas.
Building managers
The building managers conduct regular rounds in and around the buildings to find out if there is a need for any repairs or additional cleaning. They carry out repairs and preventive maintenance and remedy defects in order to keep the buildings in a good condition.
maintenance
Scheduled maintenance takes place in all buildings. Repairing major technical problems is the responsibility of Facility Services' Buildings department. The repairs themselves are carried out by external contractors.
