Microsoft Teams

Are you looking for a tool that makes it easy for you to hold online meetings with colleagues, lecturers and students both within and outside the AUAS? Then Microsoft Teams is the app for you. AUAS offers Microsoft Teams to facilitate working from home even more effectively.

With Microsoft Teams you can:

  • hold online meetings with students, lecturers and members of staff both within and outside the AUAS, including screen sharing;
  • chat with one or more people within the AUAS;
  • make video calls with one or more people within the AUAS;
  • add contacts from within the AUAS;
  • work on documents with others remotely at the same time;
  • hold (and attend) presentations, lectures and webinars that can be broadcast to more than 150 people (request through your information manager).

Information for Team owners

To keep the AUAS Microsoft 365 environment as secure and tidy as possible, the AUAS works with so-called 'lifecycle policies': for example, inactive guest accounts are deleted after 90 days and Teams without an owner should be avoided. Read more about this on the Microsoft 365 support site.
