Skype for Business

Skype for Business makes it possible to get in touch with colleagues in different ways and to collaborate digitally in an easy way.

Almost all employees of the AUAS can use Skype for Business, the business version of Skype. Only employees from the Faculty of Digital Media and Creative Industry will have access to the programme at a later date.

Based on your status, colleagues can see whether they can disturb you for a moment or whether they would be better off contacting you at a later time. Your status (available, in a meeting, busy, not disturbing, etc.) is linked to your Outlook calendar. Do you want to ask something quickly? Send a chat message. You can also make your location visible so colleagues can easily find you. Would you like to talk to a colleague at a different location? Start an online meeting with or without video. Exchanging information is very easy by sharing your screen.

Skype for Business can be used on any device. However, not all functionalities are available on an unmanaged ICT workplace (e.g. Mac), mobile phone and tablet.
