Handing in mobile phones

Information on how to hand in mobile phones, e.g. upon termination of employment.

I am getting a new mobile phone

When you receive a new mobile phone, the request will specify where you can pick up the device. You can hand in your old phone immediately upon picking up your new one. You will receive a return form, at which point the return of the device will be registered and your status as holder of the device will be deleted. The old phone will be safely and responsibly processed and a factory reset will be performed to erase all data.

I won't be using the device any longer and am not being issued a new device

If you will no longer be using the phone and you are not being issued with a new device (e.g. upon termination of employment), then contact your ICT contact person to arrange the return of your phone. Either you or the ICT contact person will then hand in the phone to one of the eight pick-up points. You will then receive a return form, the return of the device will be registered and your status as holder of the device will be deleted. The old phone will be safely and responsibly processed and a factory reset will be performed to erase all data.
