Rest areas

The AUAS offers three rest areas on the various campuses. Staff and students can retreat to a rest area to enjoy a moment of silence. A rest area is neutral in character.

Users are strictly forbidden from claiming or appropriating the rest area in any way by means of decorations, inscriptions, furnishings, layout or behaviour.

Where are the rest areas?

In total, there are three rest areas on the various AUAS campuses. All of the rest areas are situated in a generally accessible area of the building.

  • Wibauthuis – 02C25
  • Leeuwenburg – D1.03
  • Fraijlemaborg – 1.006

House-rules

The following House-rules apply to the rest areas:

  2. The rest area is intended to allow you to escape from the hustle and bustle, for example, for a moment of reflection or meditation.
  3. Users of the rest areas are asked to respect the silence.
  4. Users are strictly forbidden from claiming or appropriating the rest area in any way by means of decorations, inscriptions, furnishings, layout or behaviour.
  5. Personal attributes are allowed, provided that they are removed again after use. Lockers can be rented through the Service Point.

These House rules are supplementary to the general House Rules AUAS (PDF, 4 p.).
