Study Stress

Failure anxiety, exam stress, procrastination, concentration problems ... these can all lead to considerable study stress or to recurrence of the stress that you were already suffering from. If the stress continues, you should seek timely support; there are courses and support options available to help you reduce the stress.

The student counsellor can offer limited support in terms of tips and advice with problems such as anxiety failure, planning problems and procrastination.

If these problems persist for a longer period (and this is often the case) we will refer you to student psychologists. Student psychologists offer short-term help (maximum 5 consultations) and also offer group training.

Vrije Universiteit also sometimes offers training courses that are open to students from other institutes. There are many sites offering tips and advice.
