Choosing a degree programme and other academic decisions

Not sure if your degree programme is right for you? Has deciding whether to quit or continue become a dilemma, or whether to go for a Master's degree? Or are you struggling with other academic decisions and could you use some help? This page contains information about our study choice coaches and study choice consultations.

Study choice consultation

Instead of struggling with questions on your own, you can talk to a study choice coach. Together, you can discuss your dilemma and come up with a plan of action to resolve it. A consultation with one of the coaches takes 30 minutes – and it's entirely free of charge. Usually, consultations are held at various locations at AUAS, where independent study choice coaches are available for consultations once every two weeks. To prevent the further spread of the coronavirus, AUAS has decided to cease all on-site activities. Therefore, all study choice consultations will be by telephone. This protocol will remain in effect until 1 September 2020.

Study choice coaching is available for all students enrolled at AUAS. You can sign up for a study choice consultation any time between mid-September and mid-July, using the study choice consultation registration form. Please note that the registration system is in Dutch, although your consultation can be conducted in English.

If there are no appointments available, please send an email to Your name will be put on a waiting list and you will be informed if a time slot becomes available.
