Joana Inácio (Joana)

I’ve recently graduated in Dietetics and Nutrition in Portugal and now I’ve enrolled in the “Creating Food Concepts in Europe” minor at AUAS. I have decided to study in Amsterdam not only to enrich my knowledge but also to have a life experience connecting with other students from different backgrounds and to learn about different cultures.

So far, Amsterdam has exceeded my expectations. In addition to the beautiful landscapes and canals, there are always events happening in this city, so it is easy for you to keep yourself busy and enjoy everything. Whether you feel like strolling to discover new things or wandering through the canals, everything is close and it is just easier to bike around.

I feel that the only thing that can keep you from being always outdoors in Amsterdam is the rain…but it's nothing that a raincoat or an umbrella can’t fix :)

I believe that everyone will fall in love with this city as soon as they get here, just like I did!
