Daniel Kiikka is a new face at the AUAS and has been working at Sport Studies - track ISMB as a lecturer and coach since 2021. He teaches various sports and sports theory, intercultural communication, as well as sports and health courses.
Prior to joining the AUAS Daniel worked as a sports specialist and as a lecturer of Health Sciences and Physical Education in Finland. There he taught in a multicultural environment and coordinated international teacher visits from all over the world. His greatest passion is creating equal opportunities in education and bringing people together through sport.
Daniel is originally from Finland and obtained a master's degree from the University of Jyväskylä in 2015. During his studies, Daniel also took a minor at the AUAS. In his free time he enjoys skateboarding, running and team sports.
