J.H. de Noord (Janneke)

Since 2010, Janneke de Noord has been teaching Dance, Fiitness to Music and Coaching at Sportkunde - leerroute SM&O and Sport Studies - track ISMB. In addition, she coordinates projects such as the selection days for applying students and the introduction week for first-year students. Janneke is project leader of HvA Dance Centre; a dance school she founded in 2014 for all students at the AUAS.

Janneke studied Physical Education at the AUAS and Urban Contemporary at the Amsterdam University of Arts. She worked for 10 years as a freelance dancer, choreographer and dance teacher. She also trained instructors in Hip Hop and Steps. Her passion for sports extends beyond dance. Boxing, hockey, yoga and outdoor sports are also part of her life.

Janneke finds guiding students the most beautiful part of her job. Helping them to find their passion, to get insight in their qualities and pitfalls and to reach their goals. With a heart for sports and a head for business Janneke helps students to get on the career ladder.
