AUAS experience

Get to know the AUAS during the AUAS Experience and get a taste of student life in Amsterdam.

On the last week of August, MDD organizes a retreat where the new students can get acquainted with each other, with lecturers and staff, and have a taste of what’s ahead in the programme. Some of our alumni also joins and provides support in the design tasks that are set out for the week. The evenings see our popular Campfire Stories, where professionals from the design world join is with inspirational talks in an informal setting. Detailed information about the retreat is sent to students in July and August.

Due to the pandemic, the retreat for the academic year 2020-2021 had to be cancelled. While the programme hopes to host a retreat in August 2021, it is dependent on national policies regarding the coronavirus.

During the week preceding the beginning of classes, the Master Digital Design will organize a couple of activities for students and staff to get to know each other in a more informal environment. Detailed information will be emailed to you closer to the date.
