Annual U!REKA Networking Conference [POSTPONED]
U!REKA Connects, in Ghent, Belgium
ConferenceUpdate: U!REKA Connects from 22 - 23 November 2021 in Ghent is postponed.
As covid strikes again in many European countries, HOGENT decided to cancel the U!REKA Connects event on 22-23 November.
However, as the name of this annual event clarifies, U!REKA Connects was set up to finally meet again, to connect and network, live, in person.
Yes, we had foreseen online opportunities but as more and more colleagues expressed their doubts about travelling and attending in person, the more we realised the event would not live up to what it had been set up for: a two days networking and connecting event amongst U!REKA colleagues.
The U!REKA Steering Committee will set a new date during its meeting on Monday 22 November, possibly in the last week of March 2022. Information on the new date and organisation will be communicated through the U!REKA website.

The Urban Research and Education Knowledge Alliance, U!REKA, consists of eight urban focused higher education institutions across Europe.
Hosted by HOGENT University of Applied Sciences and Arts, the 6th U!REKA Connects Conference brings together the consortium for blended workshops and networking.
