“It was such a wonderful experience being able to connect with other cultures and identities from all over the world! It showed me a broader perspective and taught me different things that I wouldn’t have normally learned if I hadn’t broken out of my shell! Also, learning dance moves from Marion was fun.” – Adam

“I learned a lot with the Student Ambassadors Program! I learned about people from all around the world and their culture. Spending time with all of them was a terrific experience, it was fun and I’m glad I did it. Also, because of the program, I realized that people from all over the world have one thing in common – they all like PIZZA. Let’s celebrate the pizzas in honour of our collaboration and friendship!” – Marion

“All workshops were so different and always included something new to try. I personally enjoyed the networking workshop the most. Now I have a repertoire of different handshakes from neutral to romantic. I didn't know that you can actually do a romantic one... it was weird and funny.” – Marie

“It was a great experience being able to learn how to motivate people with different cultural backgrounds. Also, it is a great way to meet new people, new stories, and new countries which, personally, made me want to go and visit those countries soon.” – Lena

“It was a great experience to meet people from different cultures and different academic backgrounds which is less common. It provides a great insight and opportunity to learn from others. The whole experience was useful in developing skills which can be applied in the future.” – Anisa

“The student ambassadors program was for me an added value on the overall experience in Amsterdam. On one side, I found the workshops really useful as we got to put into practice what we’ve learnt, and also, it was a way to meet new people, make new friendships and face new challenges. Apart from this, we had a great time with the team working together and sharing experiences which made it really fun.” – Sofi

“In the programme’s workshops we got acquainted with many topics that can be (if used correctly) very helpful in the future. On top of that, we got a chance to meet new people from different backgrounds. And from my perspective the biggest upside of this programme, was the fact that at every workshop each participant had to step out of the comfort zone which is in general good for the growth of every individual. It’s definitely something I would recommend to every future international student at AUAS.” – Sanja
