About this workshop

During this workshop you will learn how to effectively find open data in databases and repositories and use it for education and research. You will also learn what to look out for when using these sources.

After successful completion of this module, you will be able to:

  • Find open data that relates to the courses you teach
  • Understand the conditions under which open data can be used
  • Make students aware of the availability of open data and advise them on how to use it.

The workshop includes a combination of practical exercises and demonstrations on how to find and use open data.
