On Monday 14 March, the International Business School (IBS) held a celebratory event dedicated to the launch of CEDIS, its own research Centre of Entrepreneurial Dynamics and International Strategy.

The goal of the centre is to create a vibrant research community and culture that engages in interdisciplinary studies and knowledge transfer with students, other academic institutions, business partners and organizations.

The research groups strive to generate novel, scientifically sound and relevant knowledge with multiple stakeholders - students, teachers, practitioners, organizations, entrepreneurs - that makes an impactful and practical contribution to not only professional and academic knowledge but also the management and growth of local and international business. During the event on 14 March, CEDIS researchers and IBS students presented their research topics, projects, study interests and areas for cooperation with other parties.

Passion for research
CEDIS is led by Dr. Lori DiVito, who stressed that ‘CEDIS has the ambition to create a passion for research among faculty and students within IBS and the Faculty of Business and Economics as well as beyond to the local and international communities we reach.’
