Online Open Science Community Coffee

FAIR

Event

In this open science coffee Niek van Ulzen, FAIR data steward at the Leiden University Medical Center, will discuss steps to make cohort data and metadata more FAIR.

The Leiden Longevity Study is a cohort study that collected a variety of data at several time points over the past decades to examine genetic and environmental mechanisms of longevity. These data are stored at different locations in different formats with different variable names and codes. Where to begin to make these data better findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable (FAIR)? Niek van Ulzen, FAIR data steward at the Leiden University Medical Center, will discuss steps to make cohort data and metadata more FAIR.
