Explore Entrepreneurship

Explore Entrepreneurship program is an in-depth program for students of AUAS who are interested in sustainable, innovative and inclusive entrepreneurship. This deepening can help you to explore entrepreneurship or to become a better (student) entrepreneur.

During the program, five different workshops are given, each with a topic that is directly applicable to starting entrepreneurs like you. The workshops are also available if you want to know more about entrepreneurship in a general sense. So you don't need to have a detailed idea ready yet. The range of workshops will change every six months, but the starting point is always innovative, sustainable and inclusive entrepreneurship. Afterwards, you will have additional knowledge and skills that will come in handy when setting up a startup. In addition, we offer you a no-obligation intake / selection interview for the 10K Pre-Incubator Program (this is a follow-up to Explore Entrepreneurship for students with a start-up idea) and if you have completed the five workshops you will receive a certificate of participation. Finally, as a participant of Explore Entrepreneurship, we offer you the opportunity to use a free flexible workplace in the Amsterdam Venture Studios in the Wibauthuis.

Target audience

Explore Entrepreneurship is for all AUAS students or alumni who are working on their own start-up, have an innovative idea or who are curious about entrepreneurship and would like to explore it. Are you a student at the AUAS or an AUAS alumni who graduated no more than two years ago? Are you intrinsically motivated, a hard worker and have an inquisitive mindset? Then you are very welcome to follow this program.

Date Time

Explore Entrepreneurship starts twice a year (March and October) and consists of five meetings. In these three months, five master classes are given. These workshops usually take place on Thursdays from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm, but this can sometimes differ.

Explore Entrepreneurship in Corona Time

Normally at Explore Entrepreneurship we combine the masterclass with active teaching methods and eating a sandwich with soup afterwards. Unfortunately, this is not possible at the moment and therefore the meetings are now online, but we strive to give you tips and tricks that can really you get started with after each masterclass.
