At the Aviation Academy, we believe in establishing long-term, cooperative partnerships with academia, government and industry. These partnerships involve bringing our organization together with yours based on an issue or problem you have. We then bring our students and lecturer/researchers to your location for continuous and supervised work on the agreed project.
These partnerships offer a variety of benefits. First, we’ll meet with you to discuss. We will use our knowledge to help you solve a real-world issue within your organization. We use an integrated approach to do this, as our lecturer/researchers connect and integrate students into the chosen project. This allows research and projects to build on each other, as trainees receive on-the-ground experience while connecting you to knowledge developed by our Aviation Academy research group.
These connections also provide a solid, long-term link to professional practice. But more importantly, they provide you with a continuous connection to our students, staff and state-of-the-art knowledge. By combining enthusiastic students, experienced staff, an applied research background and the right knowledge into one partnership, we can help you create a continuous improvement pipeline as you innovate and improve your daily operations.
Long term partnerships enable us to stay on top of the current challenges in professional practice. They ground us in reality, and enable the Aviation Academy to maintain an up-to-date, relevant and attractive curriculum, research programme and work/study environment.
