I am Aleid Horjus and the elite sports coordinator of the Faculty of Technology. I still like to spin and hit a ball: dancing and tennis are my favourite hobbies. After all, movement frees the mind, keeps the body flexible and active, and connects people.
I enjoy doing “treasure hunting” in thrift store. That is also a sport. I like to come proud with a good find: clothes, cupboard, etc…I also enjoy watching a game of tennis on TV. Who doesn’t like to watch Federer, the elegant tennis player, so long at the top – respect! But good teamwork, in a football game for example, also has me sitting on the edge of my seat.
