Carolin Brase (Carolin)

My name is Carolin, I am 19 years old and originally from Germany.

In my home town Nürnberg (Nuremberg) I attend a study programme called “International Business”. Within this programme it is mandatory to study abroad for one semester.

I chose to study in Amsterdam, because since I was a child my family and I came to the Netherlands for holiday. Since I have never properly been to Amsterdam more than for a day or two, I really wanted to get to know the city and, when my family comes to visit, be able to show them around and create new memories. The AUAS impressed me with its wide variety of courses and programmes. This is why I chose to study here. So far I am truly happy with the minor programme “International Teams and Organizations” I am participating in.

Before coming to Amsterdam I worked as a working student for Social Media Marketing. If anyone is interested in the topic, don’t hesitate to ask me. I love museums and exploring new cultures. Moreover, I love food such as pizza or sushi and good wine, if anyone knows just the place to go here in Amsterdam or wants to grab food together – please tell me!
