Amsterdam School of International Business: application process

Please apply for academic year 2018-2019 before 1 May 2018.

As of 1 October 2017 application period opens for the 2018-2019 study year. In order to start the admissions process you must apply in studielink before 1 May 2018. Please read more about the step-by-step admissions process.

Please note: all applicants residing in the Netherlands applying to an AMSIB programme will be required to complete the study check. Please read more below.

 

Our application procedure is as follows.

  1. Sign up in Studielink before 1 May 2018. If you live in the Netherlands, you can log in on the Studielink website using your DigiD. If you do not have a DigiD, you can request one via the DigiD-siteThe process of applying for and receiving a DigiD takes approximately five working days. If you do not live in the Netherlands, you can request a user name and password from Studielink.
  2. Submit documentation: All applicants will receive an invitation via email from the Central Student Administration (CSA) to submit all relevant documents showing their secondary school credentials before a certain deadline. Read more about our credentials evaluation.
  3. All applicants residing in the Netherlands will have to participate in the mandatory Study Check.
  4. For students who require a visa to study in the Netherlands, please take a look at the Pathfinder tool to learn more about your specific requirements.
  5. Finalising your enrolment: In general
    1. International students: once your creditials have been approved, your immigration process complete (when relevant), you will be invited to finalise your enrolment.
    2. Domestic students: once your credentials have been approved and you have sucessfully completed the study check, you will be invited to finalise your enrolment.

The study check is a compulsory component of the admissions process to determine whether International Business (Full-Time or Fast-Track) is in fact a good match for you.

For students residing in the Netherlands

The study check will be composed of two parts, an online assessment, followed by a mandatory session on-campus. After the study check you will receive a positive or negative advice based on your assessment results. Read more on the study check. (please link to English pages on study check).

The online assessment aims to test your skills in various areas such as English, finance and marketing, by way of case studies, tests and a questionnaire. All students are required to complete the online assessment in order to move on to the second part of the study check and the rest of the admissions process.

The second part of the study check requires your attendance on-campus. Only when you have completed the online assessment before the deadline, will you be invited to participate in the on-campus session. You will receive further information about this two weeks prior to the on campus session.

Dates for on-campus sessions

Please note that the dates for the on campus sessions in 2018 are subject to change. Make sure to mark these dates in your calendar. In January 2018, you will receive an email with further information about the on-campus sessions, including information on how to register for one of the above dates. 

Tuesday, 20 March 2018 from 14:00 until 17:00 hours
Tuesday, 24 April 2018 from 14:00 until 17:00 hours
Saturday 16 June 2018 from 14:00 until 17:00 hours
Tuesday, 10 July 2018 from 14:00 until 17:00 hours.

For students residing outside the Netherlands

The study check is a compulsory component of the admissions process to determine whether International Business (Full-Time or Fast-Track) is in fact a good match for you.

After applying via Studielink  you will receive an email in January 2018 inviting you to fill in a short questionnaire.
