Ground Handling and Process Optimisation

This programme will help you better understand, manage, and optimise ground handling, airline and airport operations. In an international project team, you will develop a business plan for a ground service provider and you will learn all about operations management and business optimisation. Programme Outline:

  • Credits: 30 ECTS
  • Educational format: assignments, lectures, workshops
  • Term: Spring semester (beginning of February-mid July)

Important dates:

Spring semester:

  • Mandatory introduction & kick-off Thu. 3rd February 2022
  • Start programme Mon. 7th February 2022
  • End programme Fri. 8th July 2022

Attention: The programme end is scheduled outside of the arranged housing possibilities, you will have to arrange your own housing for the remaining days.

Please note that the resits for two courses (Operations Management & Business Optimisation and M&4: Introduction to Optimisation Techniques) are scheduled in August 2022! If you do not pass these courses in the regular exams, you will need to revisit Amsterdam on your own terms in order to be able to take the resits!
