Sport Studies - track ISMB - Internship Office

If you hire an intern from Sport Studies - track International Sports, Management and Business (ISMB), you are getting a young employee who is internationally-orientated and knows all about the latest developments in this field.

The intern gains practical knowledge and can put his or her knowledge and skills into practise. A win-win situation for both.

Sport Studies-track ISMB students have the opportunity to go on three international internships at sport organisations throughout their study career. Each year the internships become more strategic, culminating in a graduation project where students identify, research and provide solutions to a specific issue.

Types of international internships

Year 2: Operational 10-week internship

This student focuses on a project management assignment within the sports industry.

Year 3 or 4: Strategic 18-week internship

The student assists an organisation within the sports industry by carrying out a strategic analysis and making recommendations.

Year 4: Strategic 20-week internship (graduation project)

The student will lead a strategic research assignment within a sports-related organisation to examine a problem and uncover the solution.
