Bachelor Sport Studies - track International Sports, Management and Business (ISMB)
The Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences first began offering Sport Studies - track ISMB in 2011. The study was developed in response to the growth, professionalisation and increasing importance of the sport sector worldwide. For example, many countries are expanding their sport sectors, and in contrast to declining advertising revenues in other sectors, sport sponsorship is still on the rise. In addition, tackling obesity is an important issue for many governments.
Future sport managers need to work successfully within an international context. Combining English-language instruction in management theory with three practical internships, Sport Studies-track ISMB helps students build their CV while earning a degree.
