Supervisory Board

The Supervisory Board oversees the Executive Board and appoints and dismisses its members. The duties and authorities of the Supervisory Board are laid down in the articles of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.

These articles are further elaborated in the Regulations governing the AUAS Supervisory Board. The members of the Supervisory Board are appointed for a period of four years; they may be re-appointed once.

The Board has three committees, each of which has its own regulations. More information is provided on our Dutch website, including biographies of the board members.

Valerie Frissen is responsible for the board’s relationship with AUAS’s Central Representative Advisory Council (CMR).
