Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences



The primary source of income for the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS) is the Government Grant (rijksbijdrage), money which the government allocates to educational institutions for the purposes of providing education and conducting research.

In 2019, the Government Grant amounted to € 305.7 million. The AUAS received € 81.3 million in tuition, course and examination fees. Including a few other sources of income, the total AUAS income in 2019 amounted to € 423.4 million.


The total expenditure of the AUAS in 2019 amounted to € 422.6 million.
